Founder and Chief Executive Officer

Hello, I’m Antal Tapodi, founder and CEO of Neo-Antigen Biotechnology Ltd., a biotechnology company based in Pécs, Hungary. I am also a researcher at the University of Pécs, where my work focuses on translating innovative biomedical discoveries into new technologies with potential therapeutic and vaccine applications.

My scientific background is in biochemistry, molecular biology and immunology, and over the years I have become particularly interested in the development of novel vaccine technologies, mRNA-based therapeutics, protein engineering and targeted immunisation approaches.

One of the technologies I have been closely involved in developing is the TFR123 immunisation platform, which uses short, precisely selected neo-epitopes to induce targeted immune responses. We are exploring its potential in next-generation vaccines and immunotherapies, including applications against infectious diseases and cancer. 

As CEO of Neo-Antigen, my goal is to build a flexible, science-driven biotechnology company that connects excellent research, entrepreneurship and international collaboration. I am always interested in meeting researchers, clinicians, technology developers, investors and industry partners who share this ambition.

For me, innovation starts with a good scientific question — but its real value comes from what we can do with the answer.
